Community & Leadership
Ed believes that leadership extends beyond the workplace. Throughout his life, he has remained actively involved in mentoring, teaching, and serving within his community.
He has been a member of Toledo Club Toastmasters since 2006, where he has competed in numerous speech competitions and qualified for the District 28 International Speech Contest four times. His involvement in Toastmasters continues to sharpen his communication skills while helping others grow as speakers and leaders.
Ed also volunteers his time teaching and mentoring young people through the Monroe County Youth Center, working with youth in the detention system to help them develop character, direction, and a path forward.
In addition, Ed has served in various leadership roles and boards that include: A Renewed Mind, Anne Grady and Wyldewood Baptist Church. Ed is a proud member of Wyldewood Baptist Church where he has been a member for more than 40 years and regularly teaches adult classes.
These experiences reflect Ed’s belief that leadership is not just about professional success—it is about serving others and making a meaningful impact in the lives of people around you.
